Copyright Complaints and Removal Policy
Big Spinning Wheel respects copyright law. You can send copyright complaints and requests to reconsider a removal to legal@bigspinningwheel.com.
1. Copyright complaints
To help us review a complaint, include:
- Your name and an email address where we can contact you.
- Identification of the copyrighted work and an explanation of your ownership or authority to act for the rights holder.
- Identification of the material you believe infringes, with information sufficient to locate it. Provide a direct location and identify the affected wheel material; screenshots may supplement that information.
- An explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized, taking account of permission and applicable legal exceptions, including fair use.
- A statement that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Copyright complaints are distinct from privacy, trademark, abuse, and other reports. We may request additional information reasonably needed to assess a complaint.
We may remove material or restrict access based on a complaint or for another lawful reason, including under the Terms of Service. We may notify an affected contributor or account holder. Except as required by applicable law, removal or restriction does not depend on completion of a particular investigation, review, or opportunity to respond, and we do not promise advance notice or a fixed response time.
2. Requests to reconsider removal
If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, contact the legal mailbox with your name, contact email, the affected material and its former location, and your explanation of the mistake or your authority to use the material. Include relevant supporting information and identify the earlier report or response if available.
We may request additional information and may restore material where appropriate. Submitting a reconsideration request does not guarantee restoration or continued hosting; material may remain unavailable for an independent reason permitted by the Terms of Service. This policy does not promise automatic restoration or a statutory counter-notice forwarding or restoration timetable. Nothing in this policy limits any obligation imposed by applicable law or an applicable court order.
3. Repeated infringement and misrepresentations
We may suspend or terminate accounts in appropriate circumstances for repeated infringement, subject to applicable law. An allegation alone does not establish infringement.
Do not knowingly make false claims or material misrepresentations about infringement, ownership, authorization, or mistaken removal. Misrepresentations can create liability under applicable law.
4. Information handling and contact
Complaint and reconsideration information may be disclosed to an affected contributor or account holder, the person reporting the material, service providers, counsel, or authorities as reasonably needed to review the matter, respond, or comply with law. Do not assume a submission will remain confidential. See the Privacy Policy.
We retain copyright-related communications and related records as described in the Privacy Policy, subject to applicable legal requirements. This policy does not set an indefinite retention period for copyright submissions or promise removal of independent third-party copies.
